The vix is telling a very scary story. Lots of damage done in the market and everyone still thinks that everything is A-OK. They are definitely doing the slow boil of the frog right now. That is also why it is so dangerous to play the long side. One of these days the frog is going to notice that the water is getting really uncomfortable and is going to start trying to jump out of the pot.
