I think the guy said they planned 3.4 billion in capex which could be cut back a bit. He is generating 3 billion in cash flow. So he is saying that they will not generate any free cash flow but thinks he can get the difference, apparently about .4 billion from credit markets. It is not denial, I think he is stating the situation pretty clearly.

Not much has really changed at PCS, it is just the market that suddenly thinks that a slowdown in subscribers in December means that the growth of cellular is permanently dead in the US. From the things coming down the pike for increases in ARPU (using Korea as an example and not Europe) it would seem that there is still good growth to come both in number of users and in increased ARPU.
