Michael .... every few weeks someone posts here about a new company or type of display that hasn't yet been covered here. I suspect that this thread will always be incomplete as new ideas and displays are created in labs around the world. As I understand Three Five Systems (TFS), they have been supplying displays to Motorola for cell phones. Tough market. Motorola has never been known for overpaying for parts or people. Do they have new customers or new high-margin displays? What is the LCiD product? Their webpage says "proprietary display technology including LCiD¦, a full-color, dot matrix liquid crystal display that offers cost and design advantages not available in traditional technologies, such as sunlight readability." That could be a refelctive LCD or it could be something else. The webpages that might clarify that are "under contruction". -bob
