i can believe it. I have said it before, the whole sport has been like this for a while. all the countries lobby for votes, block voting occurs. the canadian judging has been no better (she was the only one that had the russina skaters .3 behind the canadians)

I think the focus that was placed on the french judge is silly given that her "changing sides" is what lost the gold for the canadians. They all have agendas, the judging rewards previous performances and history (an unknown who is flawless will never get high 5's while an elvis stojko can fly through the boards and score low 5's)

i'll wait and see how they change it. but for the moment, the bad judging, followed by the double gold opened the door for problems... setting a weird precedent and effectively marred the whole games from that point forward.
