Gottfried,

I subscribe to the hardcopy IBD, and just renewed my subscription. There are some very real beefs I have with the newspaper, but overall, I think it beats the WSJ by a mile.

I'm about to drop my hardcopy WSJ subscription to go exclusively with IBD. Both papers have been arriving in my mailbox for the past year or two, but I instinctively grab IBD first. Then if there is any time left, I look a the WSJ.

One of the best features of IBD, IMHO, is their Economy (B section), and their "Stocks in the News" chart sections for the 3 major exchanges. I like thier philosophy of featuring stocks making new highs. Their NASDAQ coverage is excellent. All in all, I think IBD is worth every cent (and more) of the subscription rate. And no, I don't work for them, or represent them in any way. ;-)
