Senetek PLC Names Franklin Pass, M.D. and Wade H. Nichols To Its Board of Directors
NAPA, Calif., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Senetek PLC (Nasdaq: SNTK - news), senetekplc.com , a biopharmaceutical company that develops products in two key markets, skincare/dermatologicals and sexual dysfunction, today announced that Franklin Pass, M.D., Vice Chairman of Antares Pharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANTR - news), and Wade H. Nichols, formerly Executive Vice President of Revlon, Inc. (NYSE: REV - news), have joined the Senetek PLC Board of Directors.
Dr. Pass is currently Vice Chairman of Antares Pharma, Inc., which develops and markets pharmaceutical delivery systems, and is Senior Advisor at Cherry Tree Development LLC, a Minnesota-based investment banking group. Previously, Dr. Pass was Chairman and CEO of Antares Pharma, Inc., BioSeeds International, Ltd., and Molecular Genetics, Inc. (MGI Pharma, Inc.), which he co-founded. He has served as Director of the American Academy of Dermatology, Director of Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota, Department of Dermatology. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Medicine.
Mr. Nichols served as Chief Administrative Officer and prior to that as General Counsel of Revlon, Inc. During his 23 years at Revlon, he oversaw the acquisition of major cosmetics businesses as well as major public and private pharmaceutical, vision care and medical diagnostic companies, which, combined with existing business units, created the Revlon Health Care Group, that by the mid 1980s accounted for more than half of Revlon's corporate sales and two-thirds of corporate profits. He is a graduate of Yale College and Columbia Law School.
