Hi Auggie, Wow, you have been working hard! I can't wait to hear how everything turns out. I remember in college we would get so excited waiting to see. The kiln was like a room, it had a peep hole. We couldn't wait until the professor would allow us to take a look! You know so much more than even my professor in college knew. I think you are right to put off the firing until you are ready... this weekend sounds like a great time. I understand your wanting to be there during the firing... it is your baby and you need to see it through. Lately I have been going to the plant nursery for stuff for my patio garden. Every time I see a fountain I think of you. By the way, I never liked that no pain, no gain statement either. <g> Hang in there. I am amazed at your passion for your art. Norma P.S.
