From a recent Dow Jones newswire story, supporting my speculation that Nortel will lose its 3G infrastructure business because it can't deliver:

Given the billions of dollars needed to build out each European country's 3G wireless network, the operators want "to be comfortable about delivery." This could lead to lower confidence on the part of operators toward some early 3G contract winners like Nortel Networks and Lucent, whose fortunes have worsened considerably since the contracts were first awarded in 2000 and 2001, he says."
