Arun gera, very interesting article. Have to think about it. Mess around with it.

India isn't getting islamist terror activity just from the west, but also out of Bangladesh.

Have I misunderstood the policy and action of Zia ul-Haq and its result today?

Is the Pakistan general staff really "whisky drinking" secularists? Is my understanding that many of them hold Islamist convictions mistaken? I got this impression from Pakistan media....

Are the mullahs really puppets of secularist generals? And if this was the original setup are they still puppets and do they collapse if their strings are cut, or is there another puppeteer waiting to manipulate them, or will they dance on their own? Some of the ideology floating about that part of the world is virulent.

To what degree is the writer describing in the list of possible further actions against Pakistan modelled on the Israel experience?

Following Occam's principle, since the people running Pakistan are military folk, they must be dealt with in military language and through military activity.

When Mushareff held his meetings with officers and religious leaders after 9/11 he said to them, it's reported, "You may wish to commit suicide, but I don't."
