8:50AM: The pre-market indicators are still holding on a to favorable bias but the S&P, currently 1.6 points above fair value, has slipped off the morning highs. General Motors initially advanced on the news that they increased their production/earnings increase outlook but has weakened in recent trade. Company also announced a $2.5 bln convertible offering with speculation swirling about their pension funding. Tech upgrades (SUNW, EMLX, CTXS) and the QCOM reaffirmation have underpinned the Nasdaq 100 futures which are 8 points above fair value.
