Patrice, you said: <<BillyG: I think it would do the stock good if they announced wins when they win them instead of when they ship.>>

I agree wholeheartedly! I can think of only four reasons why CUBE doesn't announce wins when they win them:
(1) CUBE doesn't have the wins,
(2) They are stupid and/or insensitive to investors,
(3) CUBE's customers prevent CUBE from announcing for competitive reasons (they don't want their competitors to know), or
(4) CUBE decides not to announce for competitive reasons (it doesn't want its competitors to know).

I don't think that it's (1) and I hope that it's not (2). If the answer is (4), then more of CUBE's customers would announce, I think? I suspect that the answer is (3), but I am not certain. If (3) was the only reason, then that doesn't explain why the customers of Mpact, Zoran, etc., allow them to announce design wins. There may be different combinations of reasons for each deal as to why they are not announced.

I think that CUBE investors have a right to be irritated, unless the answer is (3).

Can anyone think of other reasons why CUBE does not announce wins, aside from the "policy" reason (which is a policy and not the reason for the policy) that CUBE does not announce wins until they ship?
