Andy, We beat the Wild Things 2-1 but forgot that we had to beat Virginia (Springfield United) also. We lost to them 1-3 and beat Maine 7-0, but our 2-1 record was only good enough for a 3-way 1st place tie in our bracket and Westin (who beat Springfield 3-0) advanced. However they lost to MA (Western United) who then lost to Vallley Stream (ENY) who are the new Region I champs for U-15G. Although we didn't advance, everyone on the team knows that we could have easily become Region I champs this year (we tied ENY last year and dominated the game even though we played our bench for most of the contest). We'll regroup, add some players (everyone in Pittsburgh wants to join our team) and hopefully win Nationals (first year that we can go) next year.

Henry

P.S. After Regionals in Erie we went to Eastern PA (Penndell Boro) were another daughter's fast pitch team (U-10) finished 3rd in the state (they blew a 5-2 lead or they would have played in the Championship game and at least finished 2nd).
