Ah, but you suggested that there be tests to determine who is and is not a Christian. Given the performance of the population in other areas, I think we would find we are a nation of wannabe Christians- -at best. And there are always Christians who claim other Christians are not Christians at all. Are Mormons Christians? That Waco group? Catholics? There are Protestants who claim they are not because they practice idolatry. How about Muslims? They accept Jesus as a prophet. The Jehovah's Witnesses claim that only 144,000 shall get into heaven. And that's worldwide. If they are the only Christians (and I wouldn't consider that an unreasonable claim), then even if all of them are US citizens, we are NOT a Christian nation.
