Ice, I did just subscribe to WSJ interactive (which includes Barrons
when they combine 7/25) and like it so far. I entered all my stock symbols to get relevant news. Found this mention of SI:

Nextel Internet discussion groups have been buzzing
about the service for months. George Thomas Kaiser, a
pharmacist and amateur investor who lives in Topeka,
Kan., notes that only frequent visitors to the Silicon
Investor (www.techstocks.com) Nextel board, didn't
miss out on a buying opportunity more than a month
ago. An investor who attended Nextel's annual
shareholders' meeting on May 15 heard company
executives hint at Mr. Donohue's optimistic growth
estimates, and logged on the next day to pass along the
information to fellow stock-discussion contributors.
