CDMA will surely be able to underprice the competition, but even with Seybold's optimistic pricing, I still don't see wireless replacing cable/dsl/dialup except for rich folks and casual users. His price of $50 for a laptop is almost 2x what I pay for cable, and as he notes, there would have to be a surcharge for larger files. Even viewing a 60kb photo would be pricey. And then there are folks like me -- I downloaded a 1.6 gigabyte file a few weeks ago. I wonder what that would cost?

And it suuuuuuuuuure won't happen here in Canada. Bell Canada's pricing is ridiculous. Telus (mine) will certainly be just as goofy.
