| We don't want to create conflict where there need be none. My point is something like this: we need to tell the majority, and especially adherents of more primitive versions of Christianity, that they should show consideration for their non- Christian neighbor, because America is about Freedom of Speech, Press, Assembly,and Religion, and all of our citizens should stand together. But we also need to tell the minority that it can hardly expect everyone to be on "company manners" if they are going to be part of the family, so to speak. People will act on their beliefs, and it will spill over into public arenas. No need to feel left out, either. Watch "A Christmas Carol", which is not especially "Christian", and have some egg- nog.
