The religions, whichever ones that may have been involved, have not been the cause of an anguish that mankind has suffered. The anguish, cruelty, and bloodshed, have been caused be evil men doing evil things in the name of religion.
Look at the Crusades, and the Spanish Inquisition, some people blame Christianity for. There are men, or groups of men, doing evil in the name of Christianity, while they are doing them in direct conflict of the teachings of the Christian religion. Men, of all kinds, are the culprits, not the religions.
Think whatever you choose, you don't seem to have a clue as to the truth as documented be history. I guess you could write your own history book, but should not count on many sales. |
