Claud, I got stuck for now. I tried to introduce that kind of a delay into the formula, but in Metastock 4.0 there is too little space. Then I tried it with 5.0, which seems not to allow the complicated formula to run. (Another completely unrelated formula also does not run) I do not know what happened to my system. I suspect a virus or a defect system file. Lately command.com did not load. I had to copy it from a diskette. Tomorrow I leave for the US, BNS must wait a while. Wolfgang
