When I was speaking about the LEAP covered call tax advantage, I was considering the position married. It would be married if the option was sold on the same day the stock was purchased.

I don't claim to know more than anyone else about this stuff, but I've never heard of a married covered call before. There is a reference to married puts in the link I posted, and discussion indicating that the exemption of married puts from the IRS offsetting position rules is not likely to hold up under Treasury regulations. If you have some reference links about married calls, please post them.
