Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I go through cycles where I gradually clutter up my trading screen, and then sweep most of the accretions away. Today, for example, I got so hamstrung by worrying about the possible influences of the pivot points, Fibonacci retracements, and daily range lines on my chart that I decided to chuck them all. I also cut out volume because I get spooked by very large block trades and second guess my system. If you are at liberty to say, what are those "few simple things" that you write down?
