rll,

"good luck with your short."

Thanks. I'm fairly comfortable with it. Oh, I realize that as with any investment it may not be profitable. But who knows...I might even short some more.

I just don't see it in the cards for Iomega. Too many negative circumstances to make Iomega's chances for success much more than fairly remote. Such a tragedy.

Even though my brain tells me that Iomega will most likely fail, my heart yearns for them to succeed, irrespective of the fact that I might lose money if they do.

I sincerely hope Werner is THE man.

Of course, I'll be keeping careful tabs on Iomega's progress or lack thereof.

Yes, I still use my clik drives - the HipZip, the PC Card version with the USB-to-desktop adapter, as well as the external PP version with the smartmedia card reader. I fear that I won't be using the external "T2" version for very much longer however.

I just purchased a Canon G2 digicam, a 256MB CompactFlash and an Iomega branded 340MB microdrive with PC card adapter. The CF card was $99 and the microdrive was only $119 from buy.com. I figured what the hell..why not.

I'll probably write up another comparison review of sorts - not that it really matters from an investing point of view ;)

Sorry it took me so long to respond.
