ACF, if we are successful in getting the CO2 greenhouse effect working as promised, Greenland will become actually green again, having been frozen under an ice age for 100,000 years or so. The ice is quite thick [kilometres at the deepest part] so as it melts, it will be a fantastic source of water for the USA, Middle East and other arid places.

Huge superdupertankers could shuttle back and forth.

Vast power generation schemes could be set up on the coast. With vast melting, guided into ice canals and down through turbines, this would be a hydro scheme to make all others look like Tonka Toys. Insulation could be used to control melting so that the power stations have a constant supply.

The electricity could be used for hydrolysis of water or smelting of aluminium to make that great new transparent version. The aluminium could be turned into huge barges, towed full of water to USA, Australia, Saudi Arabia etc, where the water would be unloaded and the aluminium used to build stuff.

Bauxite could be shipped from Australia and the return trip for the bauxite carrier could have fresh water as ballast. It could tow aluminium barges with more fresh water.

Liquid nitrogen could be produced to cool superconductor 'rail' tracks for flying passenger vehicles.

Then as the southern part of Greenland turns green again, crops would become a big product. Bananas and stuff like that if it's warm enough. Also, all the gold hidden under the ice would be easily collected from the glacial rock crushings.
