It's an odd SI thing, I guess, but I was just perusing a few boards and now it's hard to find the really bearish bears again, despite them being out in force last week. Now there are a smattering of bulls, all of whom see the Dow going to 10300 or 10500. Now, that could certainly happen. In fact, even a morning like this morning gets us to 10300 in an hour or two. But my thoughts here aren't to question the targets but to comment instead yet again on the rapid sentiment shifts we're continually witnessing. I doubt SI is really a reflection of the market as a whole, but of whatever segment it IS a reflection, well. . . that segment needs lithium.

I don't know what these shifts mean in terms of the market, but it just doesn't seem healthy. . . nor does it seem like what I remember from earlier times online. Maybe we just need a month or two trading in a relatively sedate range where bulls and bears both get bored? I doubt that'll happen, of course, so for now. . . it's sure a fascinating phenomenon to watch.
