$$ NEWS $$ J. Taylor Suggests Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. Has a Potential 'Rise in Its Share Price Akin to the 1,200%'
Donner Corp. International Issues Morning Call Notes on Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. (GPXM)

SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Donner Corp. International, a broker/dealer specializing in investment banking, headquartered in Santa Ana, CA, today issued a Morning Call Note on Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GPXM - news) of Reno, NV. Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc is a mineral-property development company headquartered in Reno, Nevada. It specializes in acquiring and consolidating large, advanced-stage properties with near-term production and good exploration potential. Acquisition and development emphasis is on deposits containing gold, silver, copper, and other strategic minerals that are located in Nevada.

The Morning Call Notes is as follows:

In Jay Taylor's Gold Resource & Environmental Stocks, he emphasized how Golden Phoenix Minerals, Inc. has a new business plan that increases its probability of success. He stated, ``If successful, it is my belief that GPXM could realize a rise in its share price akin to the 1,200% or so gain we enjoyed this past year with NovaGold. Certainly the per-share projections noted above, if achieved could justify a share price in the $1 to $2 range.'' He also stated ``assuming a $275 gold price, the company is expected to generate a positive cash flow from Mineral Ridge of approximately $2.8 million over the first two years.''

The company's key assets include the wholly-owned Mineral Ridge gold mine, the Borealis advanced stage gold-silver project, and the Contact copper deposit and project. These large properties are located in the favorable mining state of Nevada and in old mining districts with proven production records and excellent exploration potential.

Jay Taylor discusses why previous recovery rates from minerals were so low. ``Mineral Ridge is only one of two Nevada mining projects that are blessed with a significant amount of coarse or free milling gold. Work carried out by management and Whitney & Whitney since they acquired the project revealed that a simple gravity recovery process would have resulted in higher rates of recovery than from the use of cyanide heap leaching. Because of the existence of free milling gold, recoveries using cyanide were not only much lower than anticipated, but they were very slow.''
