Feb of 2000, was a totally different era, those were still the days where massive momentum investing was being rewarded. It makes little sense to try to talk about the maximum bubble market days and a more sober investment climate that occurs today.

If you had a post from 3 months ago where someone was heavily pumping VLNC to 65, that would be more applicable.
