Heck, they probably wouldn't let you keep girls, fireworks, construction equipment or beer in your dorm room either, but there wasn't a big shortage of that either (except the women).

My point was not what students would do to go around the rules; it was what were the rules. Someone made a post that the rules were such that anywhere in the country one had a constitutional right to carry weapons in the open. I'm simply making the point, far too many times for good humour, that that's not true.
