RMIM ke bhaio aur baheno,
This is #16 of a series based on the famous Vividh Bharathi radio program
"Chhaya Geet" in which songs based on a particular theme are played. Chhaya
Geet is usually posted on Wednesdays on RMIM.
This series serves to corroborate the "Naushad fan postulate" which states
that for every REAL life situation, there exists atleast one REAL song which
can be sung in your IMAGINARY world ! :-) This series is also a small tribute
to my favourite Vividh Bharathi announcer and Chhaya Geet hostess Kanta Gupta.
CHHAYA GEET #16
TODAY'S SITUATION/THEME: I needed to write a program for my research and a
friend suggested that I use FORTRAN. However, I found it to be too complicated
and boring. So, I decided to invent my own programming language, henceforth
referred to as FORTRAN 94.
FORTRAN 94 has several advantages over the previous version. First of all, it
can be run in any environment ranging from ur lab to ur bathroom! Also, the
atmosphere of ur living room is highly compatible and if the weather is good,
then u can open a couple of "windows" and work on other things while ur
program is running in the background.
The biggest advantage of FORTRAN 94 is that debugging is very easy. Simply
delete unwanted characters such as kSanu, aPodwal and mAziz, and ur program
will run smoothly. A NAUSHAD compiler is highly recommended.
