Live Headline from Briefing.com 26-Feb-02 13:53 ET UK reseller of Sun, H-P products cautiously optimistic on tech pickup : Merrill Lynch comments that UK-based Morse, the largest reseller of SUNW and HWP products in Europe, indicated that biz volumes stabilized towards the end of Dec and was cautiously optimistic about its forecast for the second half of its fiscal year ending June 31. Firm believes that Morse's results are further indications that tech spending has bottomed, but thinks it is early to call for a strong improvement. Analyst notes that yesterday SUNW CEO Scott McNealy said he's not counting on a near-term demand pickup.
