I don't accept bible verses as legal or scientific proof. It was written thousands of years ago by religious leaders in order to control the masses of humanity. The greatest publishing success ever considering the number of copies that have been sold. But we are not ignorant, naieve, medieval humans any longer. It's time to stop quoting phrases that every person can interpret in whatever way they please. That passage was written by a cleric who was slightly enligtened for his time, since he at least was not supporting beating a disobedient wife. Any man who still believes any God worth her/his salt would espouse such nonsense is living in a time warp.....time to step into the modern world & swallow the shocking fact that being male does not make you "special" in God's eyes.....only in your wives' eyes.(hopefully)
