I can post at will with a high speed internet connection with a 1XEV phone. I can do it right now with my 14.4 kbps cdmaone connection. I don't have time to wait around for data speed below dial up, though.

I clearly accept the limitation of internet access for cell phones. The PC or Laptop will never go away, but the need for Windows operating systems are becoming difficult to justify.

BREW and 1XEV DO would be more than enough for me to manage wireless broadband, wireless cable, 2 way video, & voip on a laptop or pc. There are hundreds of programs being developed to let people use these application from any cell phone, laptop, or pc.

Windows XP can let me hook up to MSN or AOL @ 40 kbps & let me download pictures through my Camera Wizard in my digital camera. Oh yeah, I can burn CD's on WMP. I think the market is seriously overpaying for a software program that boots your computer, logs you onto the internet, and lets you copy a few music files.

Conversely, I think the market is seriously underpaying for a technology that can pinpoint your global position, send you high speed internet access, let you talk with people anywhere in the world, provide wireless cable, provide 2 way packet video, and hook up to any laptop or pc with a simple USB connection.

This technology is only in front of 5 million people in Korea. However, the upgrade path from for 2G networks like CDMAONE and PDC are beginning to prepare the mass exodus from 2G to 3G.

One other thing about BREW vs. XP. I would much rather have an ongoing revenue stream from BREW applications for global positioning, global direct connect, wireless cable, voip. Let's compare the long term outlook vs. a program that let's you log on and off the internet.
