Acutally, MSFT could buy HP with its cash and say they want to compete with Apple that makes both an OS and the hardware. They even have an ex HP manager up there that is really good and he could run it for them (Rick Belluzo who lost out to Hackborn in some battle and left... Dick brought in Curly so he might not be long for HP should the merger fail). just a thought... I think MSFT has enough cash to pay a hefty premium... and since their multiple is high... they would be getting some value. Perhaps even use stock? Hmmmm.... Kirk
