I listened to the cc. The POP (proof of principle) results for lipitor will be available in the next quarter, and, depending on the publication schedule, should be discussed over the next several months. They haven't finalized a publication strategy, but results should be discussed at some meetings in Fall. This is one hell of a different story than was presented at H&Q, where Crouch clearly said that they would be providing significantly more information in one to two months (i.e., right about now). I am shaken by this cavalier attitude. Given the failure to meet 2001 objectives -- the worst I've ever seen -- I expected a straighter line.
