Ajtj, I think Larry D may be influenced by looking at Wilshire 5000 which is showing a move up from its recent triple bottom. That doesn't really help NDX/COMP of course but Larry D may be thinking that NDX/COMP will follow soon.
MORE interestingly, have you noticed that DOW/SPX put in bottoms BEFORE COMP/NDX both in April and in Sept 2001. SPX had a lower low in March than in April 2001 and even in Sept 2001 SPX had a single bottom on 9/21 while NDX had a DOUBLE bottom 1 week apart. This may be USEFUL as it means that SPX/DOW may be a leading indicator for COMP/NDX. It also explains difficulties Zeev has with calling bottoms as there is this divergence so that DOW bottom does not coincide with NDX bottom. Your thoughts?
