I must have fallen asleep somewhere, since I don't recall seeing anything anywhere about an "upcoming launch of GSM-CDMA two mode handsets" by Unicom. I thought they were struggling to ramp up supply of IS-95A handsets right now.

My best guess is that they were probably exaggerating...it is going to be awhile before we see dual-mode (1x/GSM) handsets. I would think 1Q '03 at the very earliest.

Has anyone ever seen the number of POP's that the Unicom CDMA network covers? I wonder how good the CDMA coverage is vs. the GSM.
