Slacker: CDAMONE phones in China do come with SIM cards to roam on Unicom's GSM networks. That means that all of Unicom's CDMA phones are dual mode (two mode) as we speak. The current upgrade of the CDMAONE network to 1xRTT transforms the CDMA network into a dual mode GSM/1X system once the upgrade is complete. I think this explains some of the hardware problems that Unicom is having for their CDMA/GSM phones right now.
