The analysts at the robbiestephens tech conference are saying that it is all over. The RBOCs have won so might as well have policies that give them incentive to build their networks. Competition will be the cable and wireless companies. Also ethernet and IP have won and sonet/atm etc will also decline and wither in the new data enviroment. They seemed quite positive about all this and if right make a lot of discussions moot. Rich
