re: I never remember Intel over shooting the market, only underestimating it.

if you have not noticed intel's strategies changed

re: So suddenly Albert knows better?

well, you and intel may disagree. I pay attention and try not to take for granted anything that is based on blind faith. Some call it common sense......

re: Huh?!? Don't bogart that joint, Albert.

what I said is so trivial yet your blind faith in intel prevents you from thinking

re: Intel's employee's are more productive and efficient. I didn't even mention Intel's net profit per employee, which is just short of $15,000. AMD's is negative.

again it is a matter of definition. With equal conviction I may through a claim that since the productivity is going down intel employees are getting dummer and less productive while amd employees are improving. While complete nonsense that claim still would be closer to reality than your considerations

re: Wasn't it when Intel under invested in capacity?

no that was when intel assumed that market would never accept athlon and therefore no competitive response is needed. I bet you think that that was the right decision

re: Skeet shooting is even more cruel

you missed the point - the result of an overkill
