Iceberg, Re>> Please tell me the difference between using TA and being a chartist. <<

Ice- a pure chartist will be looking for head and shoulders tops and bottoms along with volume as indicaters . Then you look for breakouts , again using volume , like John Murphy shows you from time to time . John Murphy is a very good example of a pure chartist .

Iom is a classic example of a stock that passes all the tests , broke out at 19.75 on high volume and TA is positive , for it to move upward in grand fashion .

After saying that , there are no indicaters that are 100 % infallible .

Robert is a good example of a person that uses TA and at the thread below tells the case tor Iom's TA .
