only comparison is two nations living beyond means. Beyond that spain was a complete paper tiger with NO industry besides gold scouraging in third world. Obviosly USA has a strong technology, and manufacturing as well as a finance industry, which is the best in the world. We may be living beyond our means, and the assets may be overvalued, and our Govt indebt but we are no 16th cSPAIN.
