Spartan Motors, Inc. to Present at RedChip Partners Investor Conference in Boca Raton, Fla. on March 7


CHARLOTTE, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2002--Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPAR), a Lansing, Mich.-based manufactuer of custom motorhome chassis, fire trucks and emergency vehicles will present at the RedChip Partners(TM) Investor Conference in Boca Raton, Fla. on Thursday, March 7, 2002. The presentation will include a brief review of the company's recently improved performance and a major emphasis on its future growth prospects.

The conference, which will be held at Boca Resort & Club, begins with on-site registration at 8 a.m. Corporate presentations are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A schedule of corporate presentation times will be available on www.redchip.com before the conference.

Paul Kangas, co-anchor and financial commentator of Nightly Business Report, is the keynote luncheon speaker.

There is no charge for interested investors to attend the daylong event, or listen to a live webcast, but advance registration is required at www.redchip.com or by calling 1-800-REDCHIP (1-800-733-2447).
