Interesting questions... I don't know the answer to the first. For the indications IMCL is addressing, there currently are no cures. Even saving one person in ten is a significant achievement under these conditions. As for price stability, this is maintained by the market makers (MMs). It's possible that they are trying to accumulate a very large position for a fund or an individual (Icahn), so they are trying to keep the price low (short-covering notwithstanding) while they collect what they need. One thing to watch out for is a very large trade near the end of the day, which could signal that the transaction has been completed. The Fox
