John, from your article: <i<Brookwood said Montecito is the first newly designed 64-bit server chip for Intel since its McKinley processor that will be released to the market this summer. "Montecito is the first 64-bit chip that Intel will able to design in the architecture needed for HyperThreading." He also believed Montecito is being designed by the old Compaq Alpha processor engineering team that Intel acquired from the PC computer firm last year as part of its expanded enterprise chip alliance with Compaq. Being done back east, here or Oregon? Maybe Tenchusatsu knows? Tony
