The departure of Nelson (and hopefully all his pals) is great news, long overdue. Why Schmidt did not take care of this before? Hard for me to say, I guess he did try to bring in Stone and all the other guys but in the end he gave up the fight.. I imagine he had to pick his fights and had death threatening problems to solve first..like the obsolete product line that NOVL had when he arrived.

Now with a good line of new products and technologies the main problem is the sub par NOVL management. Fortunately the markets are forcing the hand and are demanding better management or the price of the stock will remain at book value or less. Hardly anyone expects NOVL to be successful under the current management.

You are better equipped than most of us to know if there is a chance for a new Provo leadership to emerge. Otherwise I agree NOVL is doomed.
