The Wally employee poll is crap. Any merger will have employees voting against it because they fear for their jobs.

What those employees should be told is that 90% of layoffs, in most mergers, appear in the corporate, financial, and accounting areas because that is where the most overlap always occurs.
After that, marketing is hit, then production. Sales is always last.
If you know this, then you're more likely to vote for the merger, because only 20% of the jobs are, realistically, threatened.
