A study from one of the most prestigious medical centers in the world, John Hopkins University, reported: "Occurrence of genital tract infection following elective abortion is a well-known complication." This institution reports rates up to 5.2% for first trimester abortions and up to 18.5% in midtrimester. Note that the incidence of complication is nearly 20% for second trimester. Can you give please tell me of any medical procedure other than abortion for which the medical community, the govt, or the press, would accept 20% rate of complication. Especially when the result of the complication is sterility or death. If women's health was really the primary concern of Planned Parenthood and NARAL, don't you think that they would be publishing this data, rather than suppressing it? |
