Joan,
Do you, or does anyone, know the P/Es on the Japanese indexes--or on their whole market?

I know that when Templeton first began buying Japan, he got companies with P/Es as low as 3, and held until they were upwards of 40, I think.

My impression is that even those companies that are profitable in Japan are still showing high P/Es.
