No doubt. True video on demand and video file swapping peer to peer is another killer app that will drive bandwidth consumption exponentially. I remember a statistic saying that in the peak of Napsters days, which was primarily audio file swapping, a full third of the bandwidth being used was being generated by Napster clients. Can you imagine that? If you can, then also try to imagine what that means when we get video on demand from companies like Moviefly and and Intertainer. When full length video downloads become the widespread, that will tap out bandwidth availability in a heartbeat. We are within 3-5 years of that becoming more than just a back basement consumer appeal product. Video is the true killer app for the Internet in the short term.
