Everyone Is Expecting A Paint Job Tomorrow

What if it doesn't happen? It would seem that a poor March could potentially be much more of a problem than a poor February. Since the end of February becomes the basis for March whatever they add to February makes it that much harder to make March look good.

March is also the end of the quarter which is typically more important as well.

I would imagine that there are a number of people who see a consolidation coming soon (although thats not what the VIX seems to indicate) and not ramping tomorrow would also limit people's ability to load up at high prices.

If today's speech by AG is considered the pre-post recession conclusion marker, why make things better for the for a period of time that they are now willing to acknowledge was sub par economically.

The flaw in this argument is it is based on the assumption that there is a finite amount of paint, which obviously is not the case. <GG>
