[talk] about a group of know-nothings. The gold analysts make the Enron analysts look like Columbo or Sherlock Holmes. ... have no excuse for not reporting what GATA has discovered. The information is easily accessible and in the public domain. Congressmen Ron Paul queried Alan Greenspan after his Congressional testimony today. He was most eloquent and mentioned central banks suppressing the price of gold. He then asked Alan Greenspan a question and CNBC switched to the Enron hearings. As soon as Greenspan finished answering to Paul, CNBC switched their coverage back to Greenspan. Some Café comments: [Greenspan] comments are downright criminal This is disgusting !!!! UNBELIEVABLE! CNBC cuts to Enron hearings thusly shutting down Greenspan's response to Ron Paul's question about gold manipulation!! Talk about controlled media!!! I WAS SO PISSED OFF THAT I COULD NOT FUNCTION THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON... RON PAUL NEEDS TO KNOW, AS DOES THE REST OF CONGRESS AND CNBC, THAT THIS DID NOT GO UN-NOTICED. AND THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF VERY ANGRY AMERICANS OVER THIS BLATANT CENSORSHIP WHICH SMACKS OF #$@*&%^$#. DAMN THEM. FURTHER, IF THEY ARE THIS DESPERATE THEN THE UNDERLYING TROUBLE MUST REALLY BE ENORMOUS. Was CNBC’s cutting away from Greenspan’s response to Paul just a coincidence? I think not. Many Café members went ballistic yesterday when they cut David Tice off from his commentary. This is why I am so down on the U.S. media.
