I assume the business NEC gives/gets from Ingram, TECD and the rest of the sector is a very minior amount in terms of %.

Look at HP. They have a direct line that they sell to Office Depot and Circuit City types of places. They do not go through distribution channels. Costco often sells items for less than what it costs me to buy through distribution, so I believe they too get their products directly.

This is not an uncommon practice. TECD, IM and the others will continue to grow both nationally and internationally. I know TECD is really gearing up its international business and I can only assume IM is too.

If I were to buy more of either company now, I would probably buy IM because it has not had as big a recent runup. Long term both are good investments.
